Creates a calm atmosphere during stressful circumstances.
May have cleansing properties due to its main constituent 1,8 cineole.
Provides a cooling sensation, which may contribute to feelings of open airways.

Aromatic uses: Add three to four drops to the diffuser.
Place one to two drops on the floor of your shower for a spa-like experience.
Use as an air freshener and room deodorizer.

Topical uses: Add to a carrier oil or lotion during a soothing massage. To apply topically, dilute one drop of essential oil to 10 drops carrier oil.

Internal use of eucalyptus oil at appropriate doses by healthy people can cause nausea, heartburn, vomiting, diarrhea, and skin rash. Excessive dosages can be fatal, especially to children. Inhalation of the oil can exacerbate asthma in some people. In general, eucalyptus oil should not be used by young children, pregnant or nursing women, or people with severe liver or kidney disease.
